Skiing in New Zealand
9 Aug 2007
Skiing in New Zealand. We stayed in Queenstown and visited three snow fields - Treble Cone, The Remarkables (which were somewhat unremarkable), and Cardrona - for a total of nine days skiing. We also squeezed in a helicopter flight to the top of a glacier, an accidental overnight stay in Christchurch, and some of the group went sky diving as well!

Skiing when you have no hope of seeing where you're going is actually quite good fun. There were two days like this, which made for fantastic snow.
